An interfaith meeting with New Jersey Attorney General Gurbil Grewal was held today to discuss issues of hate, faith, and community.
The meeting was held at the NJ State Police HQ in west Trenton.
One of the topics dicsueed was the rising tide of hate in the State and really across the country. Everyone had a chance to speak up and voice their opinions on how to better tackle this issue.
Attorney General Grewal said, “We certainly live in a moment of unique challenges..which includes what we are seeing in every corner of this state which is a rise of hate intolerance in biased attacks reaching unprecedented levels and what is even more shocking is the conduct is reaching down into our youth, our schools.”
Pleased to join law enforcement and clergy from around the state at today’s Faith Leaders Conference @NJSP HQ. Now, more than ever, we need law enforcement and faith leaders to partner together to help make a difference in our communities.
A NJ State Police statement said “Through strong partnerships with our law enforcement partners and faith-based partners, we will continue to work together and lay a strong foundation for a better tomorrow.”
