A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll published Sunday shows President Trump’s approval rating at 46 percent, up from 43 percent in January.
The poll also found that a wide majority of Republican respondents — 88% — approve of the job the president is doing. Additionally, 60% of both rural Americans and white Americans without college degrees polled also approve of his performance in office.
However, 88% of black Americans, 64% of Latinos and 61% of women disapprove of the President’s performance, the poll found.
The poll also found that 41% of respondents said they will “probably” or “definitely” vote for Trump in 2020, while 48% said they will “probably” or “definitely” vote for the Democratic candidate.
The poll’s results are based on interviews with 900 Americans from Feb. 24 through Feb. 27.
