POLL: 3/4 Of Israeli’s say Netanyahu indictment makes no difference

Most Israeli’s appear unfazed by the attorney general’s bombshell announcement that he would pursue indictment against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on corruption charges, with 75% of respondents in a joint i24NEWS-Israel Hayom poll saying it has not affected their voting decisions ahead of the April 9 elections.

According to the poll released Thursday, only 12% of survey respondents said their vote would be affected by Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit’s announcement that he intends to indict the premierin three cases on charges of bribery, corruption, and breach of trust.

A higher number of respondents said they did not know if the announcement affected their vote (13%) than those who said it definitively would affect their choices (12%).
