The township is set to give Hatzolah a parcel of land – to use for their growing fleet. They can build a garage, use it to house ambulances, as they see fit. Currently, Hatzolah rents space from Chai Urgent Care to house a vehicle or two so Hatzolah can get to more parts of town quicker.
Last year, LCSW received land from the Township as well. Before that Tomche Shabbos received land so they can eventually build a warehouse – near Rutgers Blvd. Chaveirim has requested land but they haven’t gotten it yet.
As the town grows, all these organizations need more vehicles and more places to store them.
The first reading approved, the final vote is set to take place on April 17.
