BREAKING: Rechnitz’s to open THE MIR on Jackson/Lakewood border

Yeshiva Mir Yerushalayim is currently the largest Yeshiva in the world. It has over 8,500 students which comprise of married and single men.

Many of its students live in the US but study abroad for a year or two. Sources tell GreaterLakewood some students rarely attend any classes but on the flip side, there are students who remain there for 10+ years. One former alumnus told GreateLakewood, some students even move back to Israel after they get married – just to study there!

After securing a grant from Mr. Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz of LA, ‘The Mir’ has plans on making a campus on the Lakewood/Jackson border. The grant was for 42 Million dollars & was matched by his twin brother.

There was a hearing to allow local residents to voice their opinion, and in an unprecedented display of unity, there were no objections from any attendees.
