The Chinese national arrested while attempting to enter Mar-a-Lago reportedly had multiple USB drives, a signal detector used to find hidden cameras and thousands of dollars in cash in her hotel room.
Federal prosecutors said at a detention hearing in Florida on Monday that Yujing Zhang also had a second cellphone and five SIM cards in her room, according to CNN.
Officials said she had several credit cards in her name and more than $7,500 in $100 bills, CNN reported.
Zhang has no U.S. ties and “lies to everyone she encounters,” prosecutor Rolando Garcia told the court, according to the network.
When Zhang was arrested late last month, she was reportedly carrying a cellphone, two passports and a flash drive containing malware.
She has been charged with making false statements to federal agents and illegally entering a restricted area.
